A Presidential bodyguard who protected former Head Of State, Robert Mugabe has died aged 45 Hybe Hwingiri passed on last Friday evening.
Mr Hwingiri traveled around the world with President Mugabe and is seen on several videos going back to more than 10 years ago.
In a statement a family member said “sekuru was a family unifier. A lot of people would go to him to seek advice and so forth. We will remember him.”
The man who was 45 years old at the time of passing away, struggled from a heart complication which began around 2016.
Mr Hwingiri will be laid to rest at Glen Forest tomorrow, Wednesday.
He is survived his wife and 8 children.chaos Africa
