Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha have a new docu-series titled Impilo debuting on Moja Love this week.

The three-part docu-series is presented by Jub Jub and follows Babes and Mampintsha in their day-to-day life.

In the raw footage, seen by City Press, an emotional Mampintsha cried as he was interviewed by Jub Jub.

Mampintsha said that when he met Babes she was nobody and he invested a lot of money to make her what she is today.
He said, “When I met Babes, she was nobody and she had nothing.”

“I invested at least R3 million. Ukugeza umuntu kuyabiza (To clean someone up is expensive).”

In another scene, a seemingly intoxicated Babes is seen hitting Mampintsha several times and throwing a drink at him.

She even hits Jub Jub when he intervenes to try and make peace between the two.

The altercation begins after Mampintsha refuses to give Babes a bank card.

The couple has had a bad rep ever since Babes released an Instagram live video of Mampintsha hitting her.

This docu-series doesn’t seem like it’s going to help matters at all.

This weekend, Lasizwe Dambuza tweeted, “Babes Wodumo used to be that girl. What happened?”

Babes replied to the tweet with a broken heart.

Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela responded, “Your heart will break more with the airing of that special.”

Phil advised Babes to stay off social media.

Briefly.co.za reported that the couple was rumoured to be struggling with substance abuse after images and video of them looking sickly and acting strange was leaked>chaosafrica
