Man Saves A 3 Year Old Baby Thrown From The Third Floor, Mother Dies In Fire After Saving Child
A former high school footballer from Michigan, in the US, has been a talk of the town – and twitter streets – after he pulled a heroic stunt this morning and saved a 3 year old child thrown from a third floor during a fire outbreak.
An eyewitness video of Philip Blanks has since gone viral on social media with many praising his life-saving skills in the midst of a horrible episode.
He indeed proved “not all heroes wear caps”.
It is reported that after a fire broke out at a Phoenix flat in Michigan, the mother of a three-year-old with fewer options at hand-tossed her child hopping the onlookers would be their only saviours.
All thanks to Philip Blanks, the African American man – as seen in the below video – who sprung into action, dived and caught the baby just before he hit the ground.
While the child has been reported to be safe with minor burns, it is unfortunate that his mother could not make it out alive.
She was found dead in the house after fire 100 firefighters responded to battle the flames.
The cause of the fire is yet to be investigated.
