Leader of the little known opposition party, LEAD, Linda Masarira has rejoined the MDCT party led by Thokozani Khupe dumping her own party.
it is reported that the loudmouth female politician rejoined the MDCT because she was promised a seat in the parliament to replace the MDC Alliance parliamentarians that were recalled by Khupe.
MDC Alliance has so far lost more than 15 seats in both parliament and Senate through recalling.
15 of the seats are to be replaced through nominations that came as a result of Proportional Representation.
Some of the members who are on the list to replace MDC alliance PRs in parliament are Yvone Musarurwa, Bertha Mwonzora while Gift Chimanikire Will replace Gideon shoko for senatorial seat.
Masarira was previously with the MDCT as the party spokesperson before she formed her party LEAD after she was fired.
She was fired after her image putting on a ZANU PF regalia went viral on the internet.
The gesture was regarded to be in violation of the party’s principles. She defended her actions on deaf ears, leading to her expulsion from the party>chaosafrica
