My Son Is Not An Age Cheat
Billiat Parents Respond To Ngubane AllegationsThe parents of kaizer Chiefs out-of-form forward Khama Billiat have backed the player to rediscover his form.
This week former PSL coach Mlungisi Professor Ngubane this week lashed out at the 29-year-old performances this season. Saying you cannot be the highest paid player in the league and produce such performances.
There is no way you can earn so much money and play the way he is playing he is playing. The way he is playing is like someone who reduced his age. Maybe he’s not even 29, Ngubane said.
Speaking to the Herald, khama billiat’s father Mustapha said his wish is that kaizer Chiefs can go all the way to win the Absa Premiership title so his son can be given the breathing space from such criticism.
My wish is for Chiefs to win the league so Khama can get the credit he deserves and he will be free to decide whether he wants to stay at Chiefs or move to another club.
My problem is that the people who are causing problems are outside the club we all don’t know what has led to this situation. We don’t know what is happened behind-the-scenes at Chiefs said Mustapha.
Khama billiat mother Rosa has denied the allegations made by Professor Ngubane saying his son has never age cheated and it is disappointing for someone like Ngubane who is a coach himself to make such statements.
My child has never cheated at any stage of his football career. I kept all my children cards so, when they grow up they can show you their children’s. But what i don’t understand is this how can someone who is a coach like Ngubane, who players look up to say such things about my son.
Maybe he needs to look at himself as a coach and see what he has achieved, because i don’t think if you’re a good coach you will say such things about players how will players respect him if he says such things said Rosa.
