Things are not looking good for flamboyant self-professed businessman Teemak, real name Taona Oswald Chipunza, after he was put in a tight corner by some of his foreign investors. In a video which iHarare has received Teemak appears to have been held hostage by some Turkish men who want their money back.
The investors who are owed money by the socialite have now laid siege to his home and have declared that they will not leave until they get all of their money back. They have even given each other duties to watch over Teemak to ensure that he does not escape without giving them all of their money. In the video, one of them even chilling says that if anyone dies, we are not responsible. While the statement, is said in a joking tone, it’s hard to dismiss the threat implied by the words.
It is not year clear, where and when the video was recorded. However, in the clip, Teemak was given a deadline to pay back all the money by 3 pm the next day.
The youthful businessman is reported to be on the run after allegedly swindling scores of diaspora based Zimbabweans of hundreds of thousands of United States Dollars through a Ponzi scheme.
