There has been a twist to Ginimbi All-White-Farewell Party with indications police may have cancelled the gig which was slated for Friday 13 November at Domboshava mansion.
According to journalist Larry Moyo, Police have banned the show owing to covid-19 regulations which prohibits musical performances and social gatherings.
Posting on his Twitter account, Moyo said;

Police will soon issue a statement with regards Genius “Ginimbi” Kadungure’s funeral.
Planners will be disappointed!
This comes at a time ex-minister Energy Mutodi posted a video inviting Zimbabweans from all walks of life to come and bid farewell to Genius Ginimbi Kadungure.
Harare Live published a statement alleged from ZRP police which read;
FAREWELL PARTY FOR THE LATE GENIUS GINIMBI KADUNGURE
1)Your request to conduct a farewell party for the late Genius Ginmbi Kadungure of Ginimbi’s Mansion, Domboshava on the (13th) of November 2020 from 1800 hours till late has been received.
2)Permission to conduct the party has been granted at Marondera Police Provincial Headquarters on the 10th of November 2020
3Avoid violation of the corpse(s).
4)Maintain peace and order throughout the event
5)May his soul Rest In Peace
6)respectively referred.
