Vice president Chiwenga’s family contracted a strange disease which prompted many questions to the whole world on the probable causes.
According to General Chiwenga, the illness started just after the November 2017 coup when he and other cadres like Valerio Sibanda led an operation to remove Robert Mugabe.
Some ideologies are of the take that Marry Chiwenga’s illness was caused by juju which was at Robert Mugabe’s house since he fronted the coup.
When Marry Chiwenga was asked on the strange condition, she reiterated that this was because of the bombing at White City stadium which almost claimed her and her husband.
Pictures of a frail Marry Chiwenga with wounds all over her hands flooded social media with everyone seeking for explanations.
According to this publication however, this condition is know as lymphedema.
The condition is caused by a blockage in the lymphatic system, part of the immune and circulatory systems. Lymphoedema is most commonly caused by lymph node removal or damage due to cancer treatment.
