A cheeky Mhangura man was caught stark n_aked while attempting to steal from Mhangura Legislator Precious Masango’s family farm.
Christopher Chikwari was caught n_ude inside the farm shed but what boggled MP Masango’s family and some of the workers at the farm was how Chikwari got inside when the lock had not been tampered with.
The workers alleged that Chikwari was in the habit of using juju in stealing which explains why he was found n_aked inside the room.
Chikwari was caught when the workers heard noise coming from the direction of the room and went to Investigate.
To their astonishment, the lock had not been broken into but they could hear movements inside.
The doors were unlocked and they found the former worker hiding n_aked.
uring his interrogation, Chikwari told MP Masango that he worked at a nearby farm but had come to steal because of hunger.
He said he was not being paid well by his new employer as he toiled day and night and being paid peanuts.
Some of the workers at the farm told H-Metro that Chikwari was a habitual criminal who used juju.
“We heard noise coming from the shade and we went to Investigate. However, we found that the lock on the doors to the shed had not been tampered with.
“We later heard movements inside the shed and later called for the keys to be brought,” said one of the farmworkers.
It came to light during his interrogation that Chikwari used to work at the farm and being given a sack of maize every month.
Chikwari admitted that he used to get a bag of maize for his consumption every month.
“Ichokwadi kuti maindipa saga rechibage kuti ndidye kumba. Nzara chaiyo ndiyo yandipa kuti ndide kuba,” he said.
However, Chikwari refuted allegations that he was responsible for stealing diesel at the farm.
