A 40-year-old woman from Hambleton has been fined £200 for defecating on a bus seat.
Grace Lawton Chimango of Prospect Cottages, Husthwaite, pleaded guilty to all charges at York Magistrates’ Court on February 9.
Police were called on Halloween night in 2020 to reports of a drunk woman causing issues outside The George Hotel in Easingwold.
CCTV footage later showed Lawton Chimango had damaged a Reliance bus seat by pooing on it.
When police tried to arrest her, her behaviour deteriorated and she threatened to fight officers and tried to kick her way out of a holding cell. She also urinated in the police van>chaosafrica
