In a shocking case, a Grade 7 student has been arrested after he allegedly killed a 4-year-old ECD (Early Childhood Development) pupil at the same school.

The horrific incident took place last Wednesday in Zaka, Masvingo Province. The alleged killer cannot be named due to his age, as he is still a minor. Both the 14-year-old student and the 4-year-old ECD pupil learned at Goko Primary School.

According to the police, the incident occurred after the 14-year-old was involved in a physical fight with another Grade 7 pupil. During the altercation, the 14-year-old picked up a stone and threw it with force, intending to hit his 13-year-old classmate.
