Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckson Chakanza, confirmed the death of one person and the injury of another person.
Two suspects were arrested over the murder.
“Police are investigating a murder case where a man was stabbed over a cigarette in Waterfalls,” said Insp Chakanza.
“Circumstances were that one of the suspects had a misunderstanding with the deceased.
“He is reported to have stabbed the deceased on the throat and stabbed the other one on the stomach using an Okapi knife.
“The injured was rushed to hospital where he was admitted and the other person died upon admission at another local hospital.
“Two suspects have since been arrested in connection with murder and are leading police with investigations,” said Insp Chakanza.
