A Harare man has caused a stir on social media after he assaulted his girlfriend who had refused to marry him in public.
In a video shared by ZimCelebs on Facebook, the unidentified man was all swagged up for the occasion and thought it best to ask his girlfriend to marry him in the area behind Joina City in Harare. The “Beard Gang” member proposed to his yellow bone woman, and she flat out refused to marry him, much to his chagrin.
The girl is sitting on the ground, and in an instant, the man stoops low and gets hold of the girl’s white braids as the other hand pulls her hand, and he starts dragging her. At that point, the considerably big crowd starts shouting in disapproval at this abuse.
One member of the public then reprimands him, and he turns to respond, letting go of his girlfriend’s hair. When he releases her, she immediately takes off and runs up the footbridge at Joina City, escaping from her abusive boyfriend.
