His targeted weight is 100kg.

According to the Knoema Foundation, overweight and obesity are major risk factors for a number of chronic diseases, including diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and cancer.

Once considered a problem only in high income countries, overweight and obesity are now dramatically on the rise in low- and middle-income countries, particularly in urban settings.

As of 2020, male obesity prevalence for Zimbabwe was 4.8%. Male obesity prevalence of Zimbabwe increased from 2 % in 1997 to 4.8% in 2020, growing at an average annual rate of 4.6%.

Meanwhile, Pastor Gee and his wife Pamela are celebrating 25 years of faithful love and marriage. The couple has three children and Pastor Gee is grateful for his family.

“Happy 25th Anniversary to you my wife Pamela Gwanzura,” he said. “Thank you for being a fantastic mother to our three boys, a friend and a loving wife to me.

“I know am a handful but thank you for your patience and love. Here’s to many more!”

Born in 1970, Pastor Gee started singing in the mid 1990s with his group, Tidings of Love. The group has unleashed many motivational and soulful hits, such as Zvichanaka.

He jokes about his generation saying they were the last to play in the streets and the modern-day kids prefer spending hours on end glued to television sets or iPads.

“Anyone who was born in the 70’s… we are the last generation that played in the street. We are the first to play video games and the last to record songs off the radio onto a cassette tape. We walked over a mile without worry of being taken.

“We watched cartoons on Saturday mornings, programmed the VCR before anyone else, played Atari, Sega & Nintendo and went to house parties where we danced up a sweat!

“We are the generation of Fat Albert, Star Trek, Bionic Woman, 6 Million Dollar man Soul Train, Gilligan’s Island, Scooby-Doo, and Good Times. We travelled in cars without seat belts or airbags and lived without cell phones. We did not have flat screens, surround sound, iPads, Facebook, Twitter, computers or the Internet. But we had a great time!”
