A FIVE-YEAR-OLD Guruve boy was found hanging on a fruit tree after his jersey sleeve choked him to death
Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Sergeant Major Samuel Chikasha confirmed the sudden death.
“I can confirm a sudden death case in Guruve where Browean Matare’s body was found hanging from a Muzhanje tree after his jersey sleeve choked him to death,” Chikasha said.
Allegations are that on September 21 the deceased’s mother left him playing at their house with his two siblings while she went for garderning with her husband.
Upon her return she called her children and only two came.
Minutes later the deceased’s father John Matare found the body of his son hanging on a tree and filed a police report.
The police warned parents to be on the look out of their children to ensure that they are not exposed to life threatening risks or environment
