A Zaka man only identified as Mujaricha(55) faked his own death to escape from his wife in 2012 only to resurface on an Amapiano video.
Mujaricha’s friend Lazarus came with the sad news of Mujaricha’s death in a car crash where it was claimed he had been burnt to ashes in Rustenburg.
The family grieved and built a grave for his ashes and buried him.
10 years later a neighbour recognised Mujaricha in an Amapiano video and showed it to his family.
He was tracked by his son who forcibly brought him home this Christmas holiday.
His wife reported him to the police and wants him sentenced to death for the anguish and grief he caused to his family.
“Isu takatomuchema tikapedza. Kwatiri akafa kare saka mutongo ngaungozadzisa izvozvo,” said the wife Sylvia.
Legal experts however say Mujaricha is likely to get around 5 years for forgery and other charges.
