TAXI CHAOS | TWO KILLED, 4 GOLDEN ARROW BURNT IN CAPE TOWN

CAPE TOWN – Four Golden Arrow buses have been torched in the Mother City.

Spokesperson Bronwen Dyke-Beyer, says this often happens when taxi services strike.

Buses are still running, except in volatile areas such as Nyanga, Langa and Mfuleni.

 

 

One person has died, and three others injured, after a motorist opened fire on Airport Approach Road.

The driver had been pelted with rocks.

Police have also made several arrests as Cape Town MMC for urban mobility Rob Quintas says they will not tolerate lawlessness.
