One CCC Candidate Missing,Others Severely Assaulted
The parliamentary election outcome trend which has emerged after results were officially announced by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (Zec).

For instance in Hwange Central, Chiredzi North, Chiredzi South, Chiredzi West and Chiredzi East, Gwanda-Tshitaudze, Kadoma Central, Beitbridge East, Mberengwa Central, Mutoko South, Mutoko East and Mutoko North, Gweru Urban, Hwedza North, Hwedza South, Sanyati, Muzarabani South, Chikomba West, Makoni Central, Gokwe Central, Sunningdale and elsewhere in Harare, Bulawayo, Marondera East, Magunje, Chinhoyi, Chitungwiza, Norton, Marondera Central, Matobo-Mangwe and Lupane, among others, shows that the status quo is prevailing and remaining: Zanu PF is sweeping through its traditional rural strongholds, while the opposition CCC reigns in urban areas.

There are deviations in results in some provinces and some constituencies, but they are largely inconsequential.
This shows at parliamentary election level, the ruling Zanu PF is set to secure a large – if not an absolute – majority; two-thirds majority unless there are major swings, which is unlikely.

Whether this will mirror the presidential election or not is not yet clear, although there will some correlation somehow.
This table circulating in media provides a guide on the trends.
