In exciting news, popular actor Sabhuku Vharazipi, known for his hilarious skits, is celebrating a generous gift from businessman Wicknell Chivayo.

The wealthy entrepreneur fulfilled his promise by gifting Sabhuku Vharazipi, along with his co-stars Chairman and Mbuya Mai John, a whopping US$10,000 each.

A Skit That Captured Attention
This generous gesture came after the trio featured in a skit praising the artistic contributions of the Second Republic of Zimbabwe under President Emmerson Mnangagwa. The skit, which acknowledged Chivayo’s donation of a new car to Chief Hwenje, caught the businessman’s attention and he was thrilled to be mentioned alongside President Mnangagwa.

True to his word, Chivayo handed over the promised money to Sabhuku Vharazipi and his colleagues. DJ Masomere, who accompanied them, shared the news on social media, revealing that the trio received US$10,000 each. Additionally, Chief Hwenje and DJ Masomere himself received US$50,000 and US$60,000 respectively, enabling them to purchase houses. DJ Masomere expressed gratitude to President ED Mnangagwa for the opportunities he has created.

“Today i accompanied Vharazipi, Amai Joni and Chairman to receive their gifts from @wicknellchivayo. They received us$ 10k each. Chief Hwenje and myself, received 50k and 60k respectively to purchase houses. We thank President ED Mnangagwa for opening doors for us,” DJ Masomere wrote.

Chivayo’s Philanthropic Endeavors
Chivayo has been on a philanthropic wave of late. In June this year, he splashed out US$ 100,000 on a Harare-based Roman Catholic church.

He added a Toyota Hilus single cab and solar system to the donation which he said was a token of appreciation for support received during his mother’s funeral in 2021.
