Legendary American rapper Snoop Dogg is currently a trending topic worldwide after tricking the whole world into thinking that he was quitting his smoking habits.

Dogg is one of the biggest advocates of Marijuana in the US and he is always smoking in public without the fear of being judged.

Last week he shocked many after putting out a statement that said “I’m giving up smoke” – leaving a section of his fans confused.

The statement also asked his fans around the world to respect his decision and accord him some privacy.

“After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time,” he posted.

However, it has now emerged that Snoop Dogg is still smoking and the announcement was just a well-packaged Ad for a smokeless Stove.

Fans had assumed that the rapper was quitting smoking weed, but it’s now clear that he was just promoting a stove.

“I know what you’re thinking: Snoop! Smoke is kind of your whole thing! But I’m done with it. “Done with the coughing and my clothes smelling all sticky icky. I’m going smokeless.

“Solo Stove fixed fire. They take out the smoke. Clever,” Snoop Dogg says in the now-viral advert.

In their partnership with the hit rapper, Solo Stove released a limited edition product called “The Snoop Stove”, describing it as “hot enough to make the Doggfather go smokeless.”

On X, Snoop’s followers weren’t shocked that the rapper didn’t give up smoking, with one saying: “Snoop had folks changing their lives so he could sell a George Foreman grill.”

The cleaver advert from Snoop Dogg has elicited mixed reactions around the world. So far, more than 80, 000 have been left under the video on Instagram with over 40 million views.

On Twitter (X App) the video has garnered over 49 million views and over 10K comments.

The 52-year-old has a legion of fans who copied his signature style of smoking. and he has been a long-standing advocate for weed smoking, making the drug a significant part of his image and lifestyle during his 31-year career.

He rose to popularity after making an interesting guest appearance on Dr. Dre’s 1992 album, “The Chronic.” The art on the CD was emblazoned with a marijuana leaf.

Snoop released his debut album, “Doggystyle,” in 1993, which quickly made him a household name and cemented him as a top-tier rapper.

Snoop also made a cameo in the 1998 cult hit “Half Baked,” about a group of friends who are potheads, which starred Dave Chappelle
