Gweru Police are currently investigating a suspected suicide case involving a 28-year-old Midlands State University student, which occurred on May 11, 2024, around 4:30 pm. The incident took place at the man’s residence in Senga Township.
The now deceased Roy Muchareva was discovered hanging from a window burglar bar with a black rope around his neck by colleagues who had visited him at his residence located in CBZ Houses, Senga.
Inspector E. Mahoko, the Provincial Community Relations Liaison Officer, emphasized the importance of seeking counseling and support when faced with challenges, urging the public to prioritize mental health resources over desperate measures.
