THIS promises to be a very BIG week for Freeman when he hosts his maiden HKD Music Festival at Alex Sports Club on Saturday.
The music star is also expected to unveil his latest album at the same show.
But the brutal assault on a fan by some security personnel at his show has led to a fierce backlash online and is providing a negative angle to the countdown to the HKD Musical Festival which Freeman and his team do not need.
He said the security personnel were not part of his team but were provided by the promoters of the show.
A video has emerged online in which some security personnel brutally assault one of his fan who had jumped onto the stage to try and hug and embrace the HKD Boss who was performing one of his songs ‘Vakomana veDrip,’ over the weekend.
The fan was attacked by two security members who used clenched fists before they carried and threw him back into the crowd of fans.
Freeman has responded to the incident.

“I should have stopped those guys to beat him but zvakaitika so fast, I am so sorry ndakazomutsvaga muGallis uyo after show but haaa hana kubatika, I hope tichamuwana tomuti ruregerero.”

This is very sad, I think Freeman, you owe us an explanation. I hope and trust he is safe. I analysed the video and saw that the fan meant no harm. So the security team should be taught on how to control or tackle such encounters. I condemn the use of violence and brutal action. This is a call of concern.
