Husband Poops in Bedroom as a Protest Over Wife’s Refusal of Sex
A Harare court recently addressed a bizarre case in which Maclaren Nduri admitted to pooping and urinating in his bedroom as a protest against his wife, Berita Mutero, who has refused to engage in sexual relations since starting a job in Mbare. Nduri suspects she may be involved with another man.
“My wife has been denying me sex ever since she started working in Mbare; I think she now has a boyfriend,” Nduri told the court.
He also recounted a previous 30-day jail sentence for domestic violence after Mutero reported him.
Mutero described Nduri’s behavior as increasingly abusive, stating, “He assaults me and burns my clothes because I refuse his advances. Sometimes he leaves a bucket with his faeces in the bedroom for days.”
Magistrate Judith Taruvinga recognized the gravity of the situation and recommended that the couple seek professional counseling to address their troubling relationship.
