A Zimbabwean man believed to be in his early 30s drowned in the Msunduzi Dam in Pietermaritzburg KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa .
It is beleived that the man Callisto Mlambo had gone for a braai with his friends on Saturday afternoon and was drunk when he attempted to swim .
Paramedics, along with the South African Police Service (SAPS) search and rescue team, were called to the scene after the man went missing and unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do for the man and he was declared dead on the scene after finding his body an hour later
