The High Court has slapped former World welterweight boxing champion, Charles Manyuchi with US$18k adultery damages for bedding and impregnating a young married woman who was a student at his gym at a hotel in Masvingo.
Tapiwa Munyaka, a regional manager with a micro finance company was so supportive of his wife Viola Dimingo’s involvement in the gym that he would take her there from time to time.
Manyuchi absorbed Viola into his marketing team and took her to holiday resorts like Kariba and the escapades were discovered by Munyaka through images in the wife’s phone. The incident left husbands in Masvingo doubting the safety of their wives from sex predators at gyms and many withdrawals.
