Enoch “Nox” Guni, a noted artist in urban contemporary music, has stated that he won’t let social media trolls affect him after tying the knot with Gladys Mapfumo for the second time. The 41-year-old singer believes that criticism only helps to strengthen their bond.

In a conversation, Nox referred to Mapfumo, 37, as a divine gift, despite the negative comments aimed at her online. “We don’t base our lives on social media; there’s a reason for everything that happens,” he shared.

He expressed happiness in marrying someone from his native Gutu, mentioning that while she grew up in Chiredzi, Gutu is her true home, and he hails from Zaka.

Nox also noted that his wife remains positive, even though some have labeled her as “old.” “We ignore what people say because we didn’t get married for their approval,” he remarked.

He emphasized that those who criticize often seek genuine love for themselves. “You can’t live your life for others; people will always have something to say.”

Since their wedding on December 28, Nox has been a hot topic online, particularly with his ex-wife Tallyn Ndudzo leading the criticism by implying that he made a poor choice in marrying Mapfumo.

Despite facing backlash in the past, Nox expressed that he won’t lose sleep over the negativity.

“As public figures, we always attract attention, and I’ve learned to embrace criticism, which keeps me strong. Without it, we wouldn’t grow, and I’m grateful for God’s support,” he concluded.
