South African media personality Khanyi Mbau and her partner, Kudzai Mushonga, have officially called it quits. The news was confirmed in a recent social media post from Khanyi.
“Give everything time… I am grateful for the experience,” she wrote, sharing a note announcing their breakup.
“He was a good guy, but he did some bad things. He tried everything he could to make it up to me. I did most of my grieving while we were together. I finally got the courage to leave. And, of course, I wish him the best,” she added.
This is not the first time the couple has split. In 2023, Kudzai revealed that he had moved on after struggling with depression during his relationship with Khanyi.
The Zimbabwean businessman opened up about feeling unloved and unworthy, admitting that his emotional well-being deteriorated over time.
“I started feeling unloved, unworthy, and not cared for, for a very long time. The only thing I had was Dubai views. I was very depressed. I was dying inside.
“It was a slow, painful death, and I wanted it to end faster. I was falling apart. I was isolated from everyone. I gave up everyone, including my close friends and family, all for love. I gave it my all, but I was sinking into depression,” he told Zimoja.
