Zimbabwean war veteran and former secret service officer Blessed Geza has called for Zimbabweans to embark on an uprising against President Emmerson Mnangagwa on the 31st of March.
He warned the chief of police, Stephen Mutamba, against arresting any citizens on the day of the proposed uprising, stating that if Mutamba’s force detained anyone in violation of the constitution, he would be imprisoned indefinitely if the proposed uprising succeeds.
Geza, who is aligned with Vice President General Constantino Chiwenga, exposed corruption scandals linked to President Mnangagwa and also accused him of being involved in many deaths of national leaders and military generals.
He condemned the abuse of journalists and specifically mentioned the arrest of Zimbabwean journalist and political prisoner Blessed Mhlanga.
He also accused Mnangagwa of attempting to kill General Chiwenga through poisoning in his address, which was delivered in both English and Shona.
